is it possible to use a boiler stove in conjunction with oil heating? we got a rayburn heatmaster for hot water and heating radiators in the kitchen and an open fire in the living room. would love to put a boiler stove with back boiler in the living room as oil prices just get higher and higher....is it possible?

Very common set up, find a good local plumber who has experience of dual systems and solid fuel.
