Student grant - Adjacent or non-adjacent

    Hi,
    I was looking to apply for a Student grant for September. I thought that I would get the non-adjacent rate as I live far away from the College. However according to AA Roadwatch route planner it is 22.7km from my home to Maynooth and you need to be 24km away. Can anyone tell me how they measure the distance? or if they give it if it a little under?

    i do believe they're uppping the distance for the coming year. it was part of the budget announcements. it was going to be 40km each way afair

    the limit is now 45 km

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
