Find out how much a cubic metre of stone weighs and multiply by 8.22

    If it's crushed stone, you're looking at 1600*8.22 = roughly 13000 kilos.

The 50mm stone base will be 20mm stone, the top 50mm will be 6mm granite dust?

Well then, half of 8.22 m³ is 4.11 m³ of each type of stone. Using the info on this page, 1600 kg/m³ is probably right for the 20mm stone, so that's about 6.5 tonnes. For the 6mm granite top, however, I expect it to be higher, probably over 2000 kg/m³ meaning over 8 tonnes of that. If you have a supplier for the stone lined up, why not ask them the density of each type? You'd think they ought to know...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
