Sage 50 Accounts - unable to amend a product

    Hi,

I have a product that there is 298 in stock and I am trying to dispatch 60 of them, it is saying insufficient stock. I have gone into View/amend Stock allocations and is that the 298 are allocated, but when I put in the code to unallocate it won't allow me to change the free quantity like I normally would.

There is no reason why these should be allocated and I am unable to unallocate them - any help would be appreciated I am going mad at this stage trying to resolve it.

    Thanks.

When you say the stock is allocated is it allocated to sales orders or have you allocated it to projects?

    Hi Herbalist,

When I go into products and into that product it shows quantity in stock 298, quantity allocated 298.

When I go to make allocations / View amend allocations and enter the product number it shows quantity free 0 / allocated 0

When I go through every single PO made to the supplier and take out any project reference or code reference and leave it as a supplier in the account reference only and go back it doesn't make a difference.

I cannot see where they are allocated to and have tried running reports but it still isn't showing and I don't know what else to do at this stage.

I know I can put a stock in to allocate off my order and worry about it afterwards, but I would rather do it properly and resolve the issue now if I can.
