most branches of Tesco & Harvey Norman have a range of bags that suit a large range of vacuums - just bring the model number with you and have a look.

Or as its a new model, you may need to bring an old bag to match up - or ring zanussi for an older model number that uses the same size bag.

edit - here's a site with pics http://www.dustbag.co.uk/?type=&i=Search+Results&s=Zanussi&x=12&y=9 - just compare the bag you have with one here and take down a couple of other model numbers to ensure you get the right one

May i suggest buying them online - you can get free postage and the prices tend to be slightly cheaper. Saves the hassle of locating them in a shop

Hi All, just for those who might be following the story...

Silly me, I just found in the hand book that came with the machine the following "If you are having difficulties getting dustbags contact www.menalux.com" This company is owned by Electrolux who make Zanuusi and who supply the bags. So I did.

I got to the site, clicked bags, clicked make...no Zanuusi, so clicked Electrolux(remember they make them)... no model ZAN3911. See attachments.

Sent them an email, now we wait...again...
"my bag is bursting"...oh dear, that sounded a little, well you know:D

God knows you need to keep a sense of humour.

P.S. You have to choose "International" in the opening screen to be able to get Zanussi as a make in the drop-down list!

Thank you Alun. very much appreciated. Almost there now. This is the bag I will be looking for (see attachment). Produced by Menalux. They appear to be wholesalers so will try and track down a retailer who has them.
    Thanks again Alun.

    Hello Icanhelp,

I think you may have a different machine!
The bags you mentioned are quoted as the correct ones for the 1800w model.

The 1800w model is mostly black in colour with just a small amount of yellow, has a curved handle protruding from body with a 2 litre dustbag.

My machine is 1600w, mostly yellow in colour with just a small amount of black, has no protruding handle and although I'm not entirely certain the bags don't look 2 litres in size.

Also dustbag.co.uk list the bag you mentioned but inform me that they do not stock bags for my machine.

    Any further thoughts greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Been looking for Menalux 1900p (paper)
I've found them. They are in.........'Australia' lol. I know our people are emigrating but this is ridiculous lol.
    See attchment.

Anyone know of anywhere closer before I buy.?

I take it this is a relatively new model, yes? If so, it might just be that that model number hasn't made it on to the packaging or the model numbers on the various websites yet, as many bags are suitable for a large number of machines often from many different manufacturers. I'd suggest just giving Electrolux / Zanussi a call and asking what other older model machines use the same bag, and look for that instead.

No they haven't quite got what I am looking for. I know I have only mentioned it in two of my postings so will mention it again. For reasons I won't go into here (it would take a whole new thread) I need 'paper' bags not fleece.

Thats why I am trying to track down Menalux 1900P bags. P denotes Paper.
A guy in Australia has them but he won't deal internationally anymore.
Menalux Company/website have no pnone number and refer you to local Electrolux office. I will be calling them in Dublin after 2pm.

    Thanks for your efforts.

I have them. And only just in time for a job I need to do with cleaner.

For anyone else that may need them if they need to be ordered from Menalux Uk through your local supplier, your local suplier should quote the folowing number.

    code is SDB298.

Will fit my Zanussi 1600w, model no ZAN 3911 perfectly.
