usc form????

    im starting my own hair salon 1st feb. received my p45 from previous employer. breifly read sumwhere that i need a usc form??

    anybody know if i have to pay this universal social charge on my earnings????

    or what the hell its about??

    If you leave employment in 2011 you should received an USC certificate with your P45. You will need this certificate when completing your tax return.

    USC is payable on profits of sole trade. This will need to be paid along with income tax.

    You should speak to an accountant or go through Revenue website for more information on starting a business.
