Go all out and get a Clifford with Blackjax for around 850 fitted...high price to pay but the system and peace-of-mind is worth it.

    What car is it for?

Firstly, apologies to all if this is in the wrong place but there's too many different threads to find the right one. I have a Clifford alarm on the car and recently the "chirps" have disappeared when arming/disarming it. The window flasher also does not come on any more when armed and the led at the ignition is on constantly? Anyone any ideas on how to correct / reset this before I have to bring it to a specialist...the panic function works when I hold down the button for a few seconds (I get the range of sirens). Comments suggestions welcome. Would disconnecting the battery for an hour do the trick?

Can someone tell me what's special about a Clifford alarm? Why so expensive?

Just shopping around for an alarm at the moment but I don't really
    know what's what. :o

    Thanks. :)

I'd highly recommend MDS Ireland aswell. Very professional, and know exactly what they're doing.

I'd definitely stay away from ICE in Ranalegh though. I know a few people who've had a very poor experience with them.

I would strongly disagree with you. ICE are in business a long time and have a great reputation and do a very high standard of work. I would highly recommend them,

In relation to cliffords they are unreliable and overly complicated. They do however have a very good marketing dept.

That lad lives on my road, I never spoke to him before I just knew he had an alarm business somewhere in Dublin. I have no idea about his quality of work, had a few alarms installed over the years and never really bothered to get him to do any of them.

I would be interested to know what bad experiences people are having with him?
