I have a 2003 V70 ... had it in for service last Friday and a few important jobs needs to be done but quite expensive.

Does anyone know of a ex VOLVO mechanic that I could get that would know thier way around Volvo's.

I want to sell it in next 12 months and have FSH from Volvo Dealers so feel like I should keep it like that. Any advice/ opinions?

You can have the basic service done by a Volvo dealer and the other work done elsewhere if you just want the Volvo stamp in the book. In your place i'd just bring it to a good independent, have them stamp the book and keep the invoice. The car's eight years old, FSH is important but not (IMO) necessarily from a Volvo dealer.
