My watch has suddenly stopped working :( - I have it just under two years . It's my daily wear so it's not like I leave it completely exhaust it's power .

I bought it in the North - any ideas and should I bring it back to them or an authorised Omega dealer in Dublin ?

Really pissed at this at the moment :(

That doesnt sound great after two years. I have no idea what the warranty is on them. I presume just the usual 1 year thing? I'd bring it to a local dealer first as an authorised dealer they'd have to look at it I assume?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Sorry to hear that the watch has stopped.
I would recommend a full manual wind and see if this solves the problem, being unfamiliar with the Bond GMT, I would check the manual to determine how best to do this for the 2305 movement.

I assume that you bought it new, if so then Omega offer the 3 year international warranty on the co-axial movement.
If the winding doesn't help, then I would bring it to the Omega Boutique in Brown Thomas on Grafton Street.

Just bring your warranty card which has the serial number.
Explain the problem and the on-site "technician" may be able to help.

Ok so an update - rang the jewellers where I bought it and they were very willing to look at the watch anytime . Like Murphys law as I was talking to their Omega specialist the watch kicked into life - and all I did was turn it over in my hand a few times ( but I tried this as soon as I discovered it had stopped ) - at the moment it's still working away fine but is being monitored every 30 seconds :) I have no idea what went wrong with it and have no idea why it suddenly started working again - It was effectively stopped for 90 minutes . Its nowhere near its service interval ( 21 months old ) . I'll be keeping a close eye on it for now and if there is any sign of an issue it'll be straight to the Omega specialist .

You must manualy wind an automatic watch when it runs down, turning it over in your hands or shaking it is not enough.
A 2 year guarantee with all new Omegas I think.

half a turn of the winder and onto the wrist is plenty
