Products for curly hair...

I have medium length, natural dark blonde hair (with lighter blonde highlights). I am sick of blow drying and straightening my hair 3 -4 times a week. I have a natural light curl in my hair. I havent found the right product to keep my hair a nice frizzy-less curl.

What would people recommend that i could use on my hair, anything that i can just throw into my hair and let dry naturally?

Ive been using leave in conditioners, conditioners, serums, but my curls just dry into hard wet looking curls. I want something soft and natural, that accentuates the curls..

    Any ideas?? :):p

Try John frieda's products they are especially for curly hair, my hair is really curly so I'm always looking out for something that will keep it frizz free and won't make it sticky etc.the serum in that range is very good lovely and light!
wella's products are also fantastic ,expensive yes but if you can get the gift sets usually great value!:)
    Hope this helps!

I use the umberto gianni curl friends range. I have most of the line but using the shampoo with the scrunching jelly i find is the best solution. You might not think it's worth it for the shampoo as well as the styling products, but I find sometimes even the shampoo just on its own helps tighten up my curls, but without being sticky or crunchy.

I also sometimes use fudge hair shaper- difficult to get but good for more waves rather that curls.

but definitely look into umberto gianni. I try lots of cheaper things, and always go back to it.

I have the Umberto Giannii Sea Salt spray and find it brilliant. It shapes my curls really well and holds.

When I leave my hair to dry naturally I simply use Kerastase (buy in Peter Mark) leave in conditioner nothing more. I use the pale green one in the tube it is pricey but lasts a long time as you only need a very small blob to get good result.

I'm not a fan of products as feel they all leave your hair overloaded with either crispy feeling hair (um hard to describe) or greasy looking hair.

I have mad curly and frizzy hair and i use loreal elvive replenishing creme after i shampoo and then a bit of mousse once ive brushed my hair. ive been doing that for years and always works for me! never brush my hair between washes either that always leads to frizz with me!

My hair is curly but I haven't got a very tight curl, and I find that my hair curls best if I leave it alone. If your hair is fine (and curly hair can be), overloading with product is just going to weigh it down and make it limp. I use conditioner in the shower but tend to wash it out, then when my hair is towel-dry I rub a very small bit between my hands (important as the conditioner changes consistency, though I'm not going to lie and pretend I know why) and scrunch it through the ends of my hair.
Then simply leave it air-dry! If it frizzes, I use a serum spray from john frieda, only one or two sprays, and it works great.

    Hope this helps!

I swear by Kerastase Creme Oleo Curl from Peter Marks. Only use a teeny bit on towel dried hair and I think it looks fab. My hair has more of a kink/wave and I use it to make long curls... Teenyl bit on my fingers and twist around the piece of hair, do it to all the bits, sometimes I scrunch up a bit and voila lovely natural long curls.

op, do you have thick or fine hair?

I have fine curly hair and too many serums, anti frizz stuff etc just weighs it down so I use volumizing products and they work with the curl rather than against it.

If your hair is thick, get a really good cut to take some of the weight out. also try and avoid blow drying for a while- wash your hair before bed, wrap in a towel for about half an hour and then remove the towel leave your hair up on the pillow to dry naturally overnight. (fine hair can be dried this way too)

    hope that helps

defo try the john freida range, they have a really good frizz ease spray, little spray it in your hair after you shower and blow dry it and it leaves it naturally curly, just not frizzy :) really recommend it :)

If your hair is really frizzy then the Frizz Eaze extra strength serum is ten times better. I used to despair using the normal strength one but now use this and it's a god send!

I have fine hair... when i didnt have highlights my hair used to curl lovely. Yeah i may have been putting too much product in my hair. I used to leave normal conditioner in my hair to dry naturally and that used to work but my hair just wont curl lovely anymore. Ill try all of the above thanks.
