I was sitting here tonight bored knowing I wouldnt be able to sleep because sleep is out of wack since christmas holiday, so I thought I'd have a drink. There is nothing in the house except a bottle of vodka but no mixer. So not wanting to poison myself I googled drinking vodka straight and found lots of sites that went on about the subtle flavours etc:rolleyes: and I have to say Im on my third and it is tasting distinctly creamy with lots of other yummmy things mixed in. Any other straight vodka drinkers out there. I could get used to this:D

Well if it is I'd be more worried about why he's keeping bottles of it around the house, not to mention looking up sites about how to drink it straight!

Yep fairly positive its not cum. The bottle was kept in the freezer but wasnt frozen, I dont think cum freezes but I could be wrong.

edit- I meant I do think cum freezes hehe

Don't listen to this advice OP, it will blind you.

What you need is Flash liquid, preferably the lemon sort. That's what they use is Absolut Limon. It's really tasty and yummy and it's calorie free so it's a good way to stay in shape too. :)

another tip is to spray chips with mr muscle, it will wash the grease off thus making the chips healthier

When I drank vodka, I'd sometimes flavour it with a mint leaf or walnut, leave it in the freezer overnight, then drink it neat.

Not much of a hangover drinking it straight.

The only thing straight about Vodka is not drinking it at all. Go buy yourself some whiskey OP.

Do it the russian way and drink it with food. A shot followed by a morsel of food. Surprisingly painless.

Vodka tastes like nail vanish remover. Though I never had proper vodka from Poland or Russia.

    I prefer whiskey or scotch

Don't you have any oranges or grapefruits that you could squeeze to mix with the vodka?
I'm not much of a spirits drinker but I can drink whiskey and brandy straight but can't drink vodka or gin without a mixer. Just can't.

I drink vodka straight sometimes. I have a special glass that you put ice in and the shot glass sits in the bigger glass. It allows the vodka to get cold without watering it down.
Personally I only like drinking the top quality vodkas neat: Stoli Elit is my favourite.
Normally I drink vodka + tonic (Ketel One, Finlandia or Absolut + diet tonic).

Speaking from experience, don't use skittles as a mixer for vodka.

Why don't you just chill the vodka in a cocktail shaker?

Shaking it with ice waters it down.

Keep it in the freezer. That's what I do anyway.

    Bottle is too big :(

I keep a litre of Absolut or Finlandia in the freezer usually for mixing though!

Then keep your glass/a few glasses in the freezer instead

I always have a bottle of Cointreau, Bombay Sapphire and some cheap vodka in the freezer. Its great for the cheeky cosmo or pre-dinner gin and tonic.

I used to delude myself that I could drink, but that was before a party in Copenhagen in 1995. They had many bottles of vodka in the freezer, some of them infused for a day with Tyrkisk Peber (Turkish Pepper) sweets. The main ingredient is Salmiakki, a very salty licorice with extra ammonium chloride, quite popular in Finland too. A few shots of that and I just wanted to go home and curl up in to a little ball in the corner.

edit: In Finland this drink is called salmiakkikossu or salmiakki koskenkorva, and was sold pre-made for a while before some kid had a heart attack. If anyone fancies making their own, there's a "recipe" online here. I wouldn't recommend it, though ...

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
