Hi all, a friend of mine has in their possession a programme from the Phoenix Champion Stakes Day from Sept 1985, originally worth 50p :) It's signed by every jockey from the main event, they are:
    • B. (maybe Bruce) Raymond
    • Lester Piggott
    • Y. St. Martin
    • S. Cauthen
    • P. Eddery
    • Walter Swinburn
    • Mick Kinane
    • Declan Gillespie
    • Willie Carson
    • Danny Murphy
    • Christie Roche
What do you guys think? Any idea, if no one here can offer any opinion, how best I could go about finding out more about it?

I cant offer you any advice on the value Im sorry to say. But you have rekindled memories from my childhood . My late dad brought me that day.Despite its odd set-up, there was something great about the Phoenix Park racecouse. Didnt some of the races start behind the stands?

Any race over a mile 2f was started out of view iirc,in the longest race they had they used to race the wrong way up the straight in the first few furlongs of the race.I still loved the place.
