i think he's trying to show off the 4WD and the fact that due to this he managed to keep it out of the ditch. :)

He doesn't seem like a good driver to me tbh, the car has big alloys too which are not made for handling snow, 4 wheels spinning the whole way up the hill couldn't be healthy for the clutch at all

Probably showed the vid of the car going up a hill that most other cars wouldn't make in that weather.. Nice car, saw a red one in Coolock in Dublin last weekend.

The clutch wouldn't be affected... only wear would be tyres or drive shafts (if the now suddenly stopped!).

Any way he is full of BS.. top model was Audi V8.. and there was the S6 above the S4 too.

Not very impressive tbh. You got up a hill with a little bit of a run. Well done. Mind the ditch at the top...

Doesn't look the sort of hill you'll get a run at really on ice, what with the bend at the bottom and all. Aside from going up the hill a tad fast I don't see too much wrong with that. And he did keep it between the ditches.

Wouldn't be interested in buying that car.
If that's they way he drives on snow, what other stuff was he doing on the dry?

Could have been worse - and smeared vaseline all over the lens like this genius

Just about. And I don't think he did it through any great skill. Pure luck would be more apt at that speed:D

It's the car that's for sale, not the driver. There's nothing in that video that is wearing or damaging to the car. Some noddy stuck in a car park revving the nuts of it trying to get up a kerb would be worse.

LOL ...I see what you did there... ;)

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Think I would have given the Haynes manual a miss.

Its shocking how you just leave your owners manual, service history and NCT documentation just lying around on the floor like that.

No way I'd buy a car off you ;););)

The two are linked - over time, the driver makes the car. The pics show a rough-ish looking car, and the video shows it being driven in a manner that ties in with the pics. Shame, as there aren't that many 100 S4s left.

I wonder why he removed the video as the car is still for sale. Maybe he read this!!:D

    What a thread lol

All i can say about the first video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TMmNKHcVDQ (removed from the sales thread now)

With the first snow i went to test the road conditions and tyres on our back roads rather than jump straight into the traffic. Thats what we foreigners usually do. And posted up this video to show quattro abilities on not the best tyres for winter. How much the car swung on the road, doesnt matter as all this was done in purpose, i know im worse driver than anyone else here.

But to wind you up, i also made another video about my driving

    Enjoy and scream :D

Sounds to me like you dont know much about cars :(
Big alloys have nothing to do with snow or dry, thats the tyres which perform better or less. Clutch problems on snow and ice ? Well ... Not sure how the cars in colder countries survive ...

Not very nice post from you, your homework sucks.

Audi S6 with 4.2 V8 AND with the same 2.2T engine came on the market, (actually didnt, was just rebadged S4) on 1994 not 1992 like my car is and Audi V8 was old at that time when Audi C4 2.2T model took the market over in 1991 and was Audi TOP model at that time with 2 different powerplants, 2,2t and at the end of 1992 with very little more powerful 4.2 V8.

Love seein the trolley jack behind the driver's seat.
Thanks, have always major tools with me :)

Well, on my second video if you recognize the place, you see theres no ditch, start looking @ 6.30 Well, with your beemer you maybe were in a ditch, not with Quattro :D

No wheel spins on dry as the car is too heavy for that and serves us as a family wagon. Im just sad theres no more snow and ice, otherwise would have some more fun :) Thats why i love these old fast Audis :)

Sometimes i miss my country (mainly not)
But thats where these cars are GOOD !
