Been out of the game for a while and am no looking to get back in! I've had bad experiences with wall damage before when playing with mates at home so thinking of trying something different this time round, namely the dartmate http://www.unicorn-darts.com/range/product_detail.aspx?poid=113 or the Unicorn on Tour http://www.unicorn-darts.com/range/dartboards-portable/unicorn-on-tour.aspx.

I haven't been able to source the dartmate here and its pretty expensive to ship so I'm leaning towards the 'On Tour'. I have found it for sale online in Dublin for €119 from Rileys. It only £45 on argos.co.uk but argos.ie don't seem to have it.

Anyone know where I might pick up one a bit cheaper or have any recommendations or otherwise about these products?
    Cheers

also, anyone know how long it takes to assemble the free standing one, and also to take down roughly ?

10 minutes if you're handy with a drill.
    1 minute to take down

Want a cheap, easy and far simpler solution.

Buy a foam exercise mat and some blue tack. Cut the mat to size. The blue tack will take the weight of the mat and will protect the wall.

You should just get a surround if you have no problems putting one on the wall.

I just bought one of them yesterday.
The surround on its own is E40 so for an extra E14 your getting an ok board, and some darts that friends or that can use.

They look a lot better then the darts mate, more of a pro look to it.
Even as bad as i am, it's pretty hard to put it beyond the surround.

Going to finish it off with a blade 3 next week and keep that other board for now and again.

Thanks for the heads up Neo, handy that they have it without the board
