    I don't know if ye've heard of the guy who is climbing Croagh Patrick everyday for a year to raise money for VDP. At the minute he's on 220 climbs or something like that. Anyway he has a Facebook page CroaghPatrick365 and he put's up a photo everyday. Some very nice photos there but one in particular caught my eye, from earlier in the week and I though might be of interest to some of ye.

    His comment:
    "9/1/11
    First time I ever saw a grouse was today, half way up the trail and off to the right in the heather."

    Can't be too many grouse around this part of the country, nice to see them. Recall seeing one on the top of our bog many years ago when I was only small following around after my father out after pheasants.
