    Hey guys,

Just a quick question i would like a second opinion on before i committ to saving up for it.

I was really considering a tokyo mauri mk23 socom non blowback pistol believing it to be the most silent pistol out there...
The only thing is i prefer co2 regardless.....

The other thing is would a non blowback co2 pistol with silencer be more quieter than the socom...

I would like to hear fellow skirmishers opinion on this...

    Thanks in advance..

    DP...

I had one and the only reason that I sold it was the lack of recoil which I love to feel
As regards quietness yes it is almost silent, I used it target shooting indoors, shooting from one room to the other with the wife sitting along side me and she would be almost totally unaware that I had even fired a shot
Due to the very small volume of gas used in shooting the cool down effect is almost non existent and with it being all ABS it works very well in cold weather when most green gas pistols are useless

The Mk23 is renowned as one of the most silent pistols out there. The Maruzen P99 is another silent NBB. The KWC Taurus 24/7 is pretty quiet, but please note the word quiet as opposed to 'silent'. However the Taurus 24/7 has the advantage of CO2 which you prefer.

Get the TM Mk23 socom if you can. It's not only far quieter than the rest (when using silencer), it's also the best range, most accurate and consistent.

As with nearly all TM equipment - it still outperforms and outlasts nearly all else, and is worth it if you get a good one.

I used to own one (another sale regretted :p) but it's big and the non blowback isnt for everyone.

Try get to see one in action - you wont believe your ears or your eyes when you see the performance.

While i don't have a TM MK23, i have an ASG Mk23 and can tell you it is very quiet and better accuracy than what i had expected. But it is a big gun compared to other pistols and is very long with the silencer on. But as one of the lads here said, try and get a hold of one to see how you like it first buying committing to buying. Won't be everyone's cup of tea.
