    Hi :)

    Just looking for some advice

I have a tooth ache in my lower back molar, it's previously been filled and i was told by the dentist that if it gets bad again i will need a root canal.
Thing is i have no money for a root canal

So my question is, is it possible just to extract the tooth (its the very back molar and not visible at all when i smile) or is this only a very last resort?

I've read that this cannot be done without replacing the tooth with an implant which would obviously be even more expensive.

    Thanks

    Aoife

Of course you can just get it extracted. There are reasons why it's preferable to have a ooth rather than the space but losing the very back tooth is not the end of the world.
