    Hey,

    Any1 doing this course? could u give me a bit of info about it? what is it like? how many points I'd need? etc...because there's not much info about it online or atleast i coudn't find it...

    The only people I've ever met to have done this course are those who were already employed in the sector.

    Hmm...It doesn't say anything about that in DIT website..It only says that its a 3 year course and that u need to pass five subjects in ur leaving cert...

    ye was just looking at the course myself, iv emailed the co ordinator (im in DIT already) so ill put up any info he gives me. Im assuming the course is only being introduced this september? As iv never seen it here before

    Yeah its a new course...I'we spoken to Aidan Rooney at the open day, got all the info i wanted there. He wasn't sure about the points yet as its a new course, im supposed to get an email when he will know more about this course.

    Was looking to start this course in Sept, but called Engineers Ireland and the course is not recognised by them, the BEng in Aircraft Systems in Carlow IT is recognised by Engineers Ireland?

    Anyone know why a well established institute like DIT doesn't have this course recognised by Engineers Ireland.

    Both courses are very similar but with Carlow IT BEng in Aircraft Systems approved by Engineers Ireland I think i will be choosing Carlow IT instead.

    Any thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated!
