    Thoughts folks?

Been browsing boards all evening and no one seems to have any info re a kk wedding.

Any ideas on hotel, band and DJ?

Engaged 1 week and want to marry within the year.

    Thanks,
    Sparktest.

I'm assuming OP means a Kilkenny wedding.

    Congratulations on your engagement.

You could try looking on the wedding forums elsewhere on the internet and you might find some starting point.

There is a band forum on boards and you may find someone of interest there or someone there might be able to recommend a band.

I read it initially as KKK and was wondering why anyone would be asking about a Ku Klux Klan wedding. On more careful inspection I realised she was talking about Kilkenny. :o

    to kilkenny from dublin anyways

We're getting married in Kilkenny in July. Having the reception at Lyrath Hotel. It seemed expensive at the start. But with a bit of haggling, we managed to get a good deal and a heap of stuff thrown in for free.

Very easy to work with, havent had any problems with them so far.

Most bands will travel, we're getting one from Dublin, they do DJ'ing too. Found them in the Wedding bands thread on here.

Suppliers will generally travel, music, photography and video shouldnt have a problem going from Dublin to Kilkenny, other surrounding counties too.

I know I have Kilkenny weddings myself this year, it's not too far. However after a certain distance, say maybe 2 hours distance there may be an extra charge, distance and amount depends on the supplier.
