I hate to have to start a thread for such a trivial thing, but if you can help it would be much appreciated.

I'm getting a pair of snow socks as a present and can't find a definitive answer online as to what the correct size I should get. If somebody can provide me with the standard tire size, width and profile for a 96 Almera that would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

Have you checked the side of your tyres?

I don't own the car. I'm getting it as a present for a relative so never around the car to check the sizes so i'm hoping somebody here has an mkI Almera to answer for me!

Are they definitely OEM alloys though? I'd try and find out somehow just in case.

    Probably 175/65 R 14

In that case the width of the tyre will be 175 mm

And the diameter of the wheel + tyre in mm will be 355.6 + 2*(175*65/100)

I'd imagine that snow socks will fit a range of wheel sizes rather than being an exact fit?
