Iphone 4 failing to sync

    Having a little problem with my iphone the last week or so!

    Anytime i connect it to itunes, it won't actually allow me to back up the phone.

    Anytime it tries to sync, it gets to Step 2(finishing sync) and gives me the error
    "could not back up iphone at this time as the back up session failed"

    any ideas?

    Same happened to me yesterday. I just plugged the phone into a different usb port and it then synced no problem

    Nope, tried different USB ports...and nothing! :(

    Okay i think i have this sorted....needed to go to the program files directory on the hard drive and run itunes as the administrator!

    dunno why this only happened recently! :(
