Hate the stuff. Always have. Yuck.

For, but only smooth. Don't like the texture of nuts so the crunchy one isn't for me.

Peanut butter and cheese go oddly well together....

I'm for peanut butter but I don't think it should be taught in schools.

I am utterly AGAINST this revolting ABOMINATION that masquerades as food *

I've never actually had peanut butter, but one drunken night I had buttered crackers with cheese and kp nuts and it was delicious.

I've never had peanut butter. I saw a jar in Lidl once, it looked like stale mayonnaise.

I LOVE those things. I love savoury stuff. EXCEPT PEANUT BUTTER!!!

But I HATE lots of sweet stuff, it's MUCK including ESPECIALLY:

    Straberry jam
    Strawberry yoghurt
    Strawberrry flavoured anything
    Strawberries
By association any suspiciously strawberry flavoured food.
Fruit if it is adulterated in any way.
    Dried fruit (dry wretches)
    Blended fruit
    Fruit of the forest
Any dessert featuring fruit which has been tampered with, especially boiled with sugar added *vomits*
Anything that looks like red/pink/purple coloured fruit in any type of fruit 'sauce' configuration.
    YUK
    YUK
    YUK

I will not eat creamy 'treats' if they are pink or purple.

NO. I KNOW there are strawberries or worse in there. So. NO.

    coleslaw

you can scissor that and all..

coleslaw has no place in thread with peanut butter
    raw vegetables in stale malaise

Once there's peanut butter, bread, alcohol and smokes in my house, I know there's no need to go outdoors.

    Check me out, laydeez!

Tar, did you have a "Peanut butter Incident" in your early days that put you off it?

Best when melting on hot fresh toast. Yum!

had it on bread, no butter. EWWW dry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,350 ✭✭✭Lust4Life

Ah, but My Dear, like most things, if you try it in a different way, it might be more appealing! ;)

Ah it's ok tasting, just not on it's own.

love the stuff-eat it every day as a child. Except the day my Nana made me a peanutbutter, sandwich with butter on the bread......gag!!!

Real peanutbutter has NO butter in it btw. You can make it yourself easy just grind peanuts up until they make a paste. Tadaaa!!!!!!

I remember Sesame Street as a kid, there was a lot of talk about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, it sounded so good and I always wanted to try one. Years later I did and....bleuch! Horrible stuff, but the kids love it and it's convenient for a quick lunch. Plus it's cheap...

Peanut butter with sliced apples (Golden Delicious preferably) is pretty good though. That's the only way I can eat the stuff.
