    Would they not order it for you?

    Couldn't you just ask them?

    Yeah, but I was just gonna pop back in later in the week and look again for the item of clothing. Then I figured there's no point going back again until the store has at least had another delivery because the item I want wouldn't be there. So I thought last night I'd just pop the question up here and see if anyone knew. Plus, I've asked this question in shops before only to be met with a blank stare! However, it's amazing the stuff people in here know sometimes.

    To be honest I didn't ask. Though I'm always in there asking: 'have you got this in an XS?' or 'have you got that jumper in the blue colour?' etc. and no one has ever replied: 'No, but we could try order it in for you if you like?'. So to be honest I always figured it wasn't a service they provided. If they do order stuff in for you, would be nice if they spoke about it more.

    Anyway, I ended up ordering the item I wanted online. It was selling for €79.99 in Ireland but only £49.95 in the UK store so even after the delivery charge I still saved!

    I used to work in Gap, go in and ask them to check the other stores or you, they'll have no problem doing so :)

    Also Gap have a UK website that finally delivers to Ireland;
