Tasker mobile data

    Hi,
    I am trying to set up a profile that will turn on mobile data. However I can't get it to work for even the simplest profiles. Note that I have APNDroid installed but actually use Widgetsoid at the moment to toggle mobile data on and off.
    Anyway, in Tasker my contect is time based, and then I have tried a task with both "Net/Mobile Data" and "Net/Mobile Data APN" to turn on the mobile data but neither have worked for me. Note that I have the "Mobile Network" setting turned on in the Android settings. Is Widgetsoid causing an issue? Has anyone else had issues with Mobile Data in tasker.

    I have a HTC Desire.

    Yep, used not always turn data on for me, but this was only because APN droid changed my APNs and could not use data at all no matter how I turned it on. Am on vodafone and was using hs.vodafone.ie at time, use live now, so I'll try it again tomorrow. HTC Hero
