Hi All just wondering what the policy is in relation to attending Leopardstown Races with children. Are they permitted entry with their parents as in a 4 year old. We were going to go for the day on Sunday but have no choice but to take our 4 yr old along. Is there a certain policy or anythign like that?

Check with the racecourse to see if there is any special kids events on. Racecourses are running kids clubs now where they are brought around the course, into the weigh room etc. If it's your first time at the races, check the horses out in the pre-parade ring behind the jockeys board at the parade ring, take a spin down to the last fence, plenty of Costa coffee in the new food court under the stand behind the parade ring.

The 'Family Fun Days' at L'town are usually when the Flat cards restart, around Ballysax/Derristown Derby Trial days. Usually have clowns, puppet shows, face paintings etc for the kids!
