VW POLO Cable in Engine

    Hi,

Hope you guys can help me out, I found a cable that was disconnected in the engine of mt VW Polo 2002. The cable was coming out from the body of the car and seems to run underneath where the battery is and I can't see where is goes next. I connected it back up by clipping the two parts together but just wondering what this cable is for. The only obvious problem is the the radio turns off by itself randomly and sometimes the speakers don't work.

If any body know what it is I would really appreciate finding out as it's wrecking my head to know what it does.

I have added some photos, hopefully someone might know.

    Thanks

    MOS22

Is it actually a cable with wires in it or just some tubing?

It's the washer fluid line for the rear window. These have a tendancy to disconnect for one reason or another. I had to tape up mine last year.

There was no cables inside and it was hollow inside so must have been tubing

The back window water never worked. i will try it out now and see if it works.
Might finally be able to see out the back window now.
    Thanks again

    Sounds like a result.

Oh and it's definitely worth getting some electrical tape and taping the two connections up, as they are pure shite, it'll pop right off within a couple of minutes.
