    looking for:

    Joseph Browne Jameson
    born dundalk, co antrim

married in 1931 in Dundalk, co. Antrim
    Evangeline Susanna Victoria Ritchie

    Parents:
    Joseph David Ritchie
    1867 go-craig,Hyde Park,co. antrim
    died 1935

    Evangeline Mary Collins
    june 15, 1865 phillipstown, KIng's co., ireland

In a issue of the Irish christian advocate circa 1935

it mentioned that Evangeline ritchie possesed military papers for a zora robinett. A series of these is missing from kew aechives now. so it would be a great help to obtain the records. That is if they still exist.

    thanks,

    Bill

Ok are you sure that dundalk is in county antrim isn't it in louth?? Otherwise check your local library they have a whole pile of records for prisons and if that isn't succesful check the military records in proni in belfast... IF that is in county antrim.

owenc is correct.. Dundalk is definitely not in Co. Antrim, it's in Co. Louth.

It is located quite close to the border, but the nearest counties in Northern Ireland would be Co. Down and Co. Armagh.

Never heard of 'go-craig,Hyde Park'... but there is a townland in Co. Antrim named Craig. It looks like it may be near to Ballycastle.

There's two possible references for the marriage on the BMD index, possible one in a registry office and another in a church ?

A marriage cert would give you more details..

    Joseph Browne Jameson
    registration district: Dundalk
    event type: Marriage
registration quarter and year: Jul - Sep 1931
    volume : 2 / page : 547

    Joseph Browne Jameson
    registration district: Dundalk
    event type: marriage
registration quarter and year: Apr - Jun 1931
    volume: 2 / page: 465

There's cross-matching records for both with an Evangeline S V Ritchie

p.s. Dundalk is the registration district for the marriage which covers an area in Co. Louth surrounding the town, plus a few townlands in Co. Monaghan.
