Hig guys add your names here if your interested in playing. Add your names here and I'll put you in. Going to run off HitmanHealys idea of a league divided into 2 groups, may change if theres too many or to little entrants.

Looking for a start date around January 5th. So get the names coming.

Format Groups
-Games to be played via DartPro program if possible, if unable than EzChalk is perfectly acceptable.
-2 groups of hopefully 8-10 players.
-Groups will be seeded according to Boards Rankings. 2 seeds per group. The 1st and 4th highest boards ranked entrants will play out of GroupA, 2nd&3rd highest boards ranked players out of Group 2. An open draw will decide the other placings.

-Round Robin Format.
-Best of 10 legs of 501.
-When a player reaches 6 the match is over and the scoreline at that point is whats submitted. No need to play out a game if your 6-0 down.
-Top 4 from each group qualify for Cup Finals.
-If we have between 24-26 entrants, I may run a shield for 5-8th in their groups.

If you guys wanna use webcams let me know and we'll run with it, if not than thats fine.
Post 180s and high checkouts during match results (theirs imaginary prizes for both)
Please play fair (as you always do, but just reminding everyone.)

Right lads thats our lot. Im off to do the draw. I'll post the groups soon. Going to be 2 groups of 10 players. Top 4 from each make the knockout. 5th and 6th into the shield.

As the groups are so big, half your total group points will be awarded as ranking points as opposed to the usual 1:1. So you will get 1 point for a win and 1/2point for a draw. Giving a maximum of 9 pts.
A place in the last 8 will add 2 points.
A place in the last 4 will add 2 points.
A place in the final will add 3 points.
Winning the final will add 5 points.

This means:
The potential points on offer peaks at 21.

Lads I did the draw using a random number generator leaving out the seeds. I swapped King P and me so I could go 5-20 and let it give me 16 numbers in any order I just than put them into each group and this is what I came up with.

Right I'll say the basic fixture rules.

Every player must have played 1 game by Friday Jan14th at 23.59
Every player must have played 3 games (2 more) by Friday Jan21st at 23.59
Every player must have played 6 games (3 more) by Friday Jan28th
Every player must have completed their games (3more) by Thursday February 3rd at 23.59

The reasons for this is the tournament feature a couple of county player and the All Ireland takes place over the weekend of Feb5th in Mayo and lots of players will be out of town.

The last 8 will be played on the week of February 7th to 13th
The last 4 will be played on the week of Feb 14th to 20th
The final will be played hopefully in the same week but no later than the 27th.

IMPORTANT
In the event of a match being unplayed than the player that is none to have made the effort will be awarded the win by 6 legs to 0.

So every time you pm a player to arrange a fixture time than post here and say that you've sent the pm.

for example If someone pulls out of a match and it ends up meaning you can only play 2 games in the first 2 weeks and will miss the dealing than post here with a. that players reason for cancelling b. if you get no reply.

If a. is a valid reason than at your discretion the game can be rearranged and no player will be punished. If b. than you will get a 6-0 win.

If for any legitamate reason you will be pulling out or will be gone for a week than post here, instead of having other people chasing down ghosts.
In many cases you can race ahead with your games before such time as you have to leave or if the other players are ok with it than by all means we will let you play afterwards. Just we can't be holding the whole competition up because a couple of players are missing. Tournie 3 turned into almost a joke over this.

I signed up to that EzChalk thingy last night, I've never played this tournament and expect to get hammered by all my opponents, but I don't mind, I'm trying to improve my game!!

Mr. Moon pm players from your group to see whose free and when and set up the game. than simply log in to ezchalk and creat a new game. Play the first to 6 legs or whatever format is available think its 2 sets on best of 5 and simply count the first to 6 legs or 5 all. you just type what you score into each box and press enter, ezchalk does the rest.

BTW, how many darts does it take you's on average to finish a leg, (just so I know how bad I'm gonna lose) I'm averaging about 25-30 per leg but my best is 14 (got it once)

just tried to have a practice game with hitman and ezchalk is acting up keeps coming up internal server error and a big white screen, anyone else having this problem

Group A - only had 5 games. Padzer leads the table with 1w, 1l, 1d.
Not alot else to say as of yet.

Group B - Much more active and of all the players who have played everyone has taken at least a point. Hitman Healy leads the table with an impressive 7 points, which puts him in a great position with so many draws. Interesting that only 3 players have won games and 8 of the 10 have played.

Lads can ye post yer 180s and high finishes in this thread as the other is hard to follow when they aren't listed in the same post as the match thread.
