L85a2 & pmags

Anyone know if the pts pmags will fit in the receiver of the G&G L85a2 or even with modification?

I know the Star and G&G L85s are fairly different with the Star being a closer replica to the real thing, externally anyway, but I can use PTS Pmags in my Star L85 with no modification. They don't rattle in the mag well and even drop free. The Star mid cap that came with it rattles around the well and won't drop free, go figure.

The real steel Pmags won't fit in the real L85 though, thats why there is the Emags for the L85 and HK416 in real steel. The airsoft Emags are listed for that purpose too but I can use standard Pmags in my VFC 416 and L85 with no modifications just fine.

Tried genuine Magpul Pmags in my L85a2 with no joy at all.
Not even close to fitting.

Dang, thats disappointing to hear. Was wondering why noone had them in theirs on the sa80 photo thread on arnies. Guess no magpul sa80 for moi

I justify it by telling myself the Pmags would look crap in it anyway:D;):D.

i know there emags but their the same dimensions arent they ?

The emags should fit! They are a good bit slimmer than Pmags.:)

Thanks for the help. Don't think i could justify forking out on a whole new set of mids just for the one rifle though.
