Career Break and redundancy

    Hi

I'm being made redundant in the next few weeks. Just a quick question re: redundancy and a career break. Somebody here might have an idea.

I started working for the company in 2002. In Sept 2006 I left to go traveling for a while and I returned to work for the same company in May 2007. Problem is I signed on with social welfare for 3 weeks before I went away because I was told I needed to keep my stamps up.

I presume this means that I will only be able to claim for the period when I returned to work in May 2007.

    Any thoughts would be great

    Thanks
