Just reading the AH thread on the VHI increases and someone mentioned that natulizimab is not available to "public patients" by which I assume they meant patients on the LTI scheme. Surely this isn't correct is it?

It's available on the medical card isn't it?

Just checked my MIMS and it not available on the GMS scheme but is listed as being available only in hospitals uinder consultant initiation and supervision.
I suppose this means it depends on the particular hospitals or consultants policy.

So one would assume that if a consultant prescribes it for a medical card or LTI patient that the cost would be covered?
