Sure I was talking to a fella there today and we having a discussion and it turned to the old days. Sure there shockin poverty back then before the boom in the 90s, and we were just thinking to ourselves, sure all of them people giving out about fianna fail probably never lived in the bad old days before the celtic tiger.

And even if the recession is a bit bad now its nothing at all like the old days. Sure weve more money than we ever had. Would you agree with me here, sure before Bertie came in, FG and Labour governments done nothign for the economy.

    Sure.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

john bruton and fine gael/labour were in government when the economy started to boom in 1994
bertie devalued the pound in the very early 90's and virtually told anyone who said th eeconomy was going to collapse to kill themselves

im voting for an independant in the next election, all parties are rotten to the core

Sorry, I grew up in Celtic Tiger Ireland. I don't believe in sharing, common interest, the big picture or the greater good.

Trolls were also less obvious before the boom. They put so little effort into hiding themselves these days.

I think that even though we are up to our necks in debt I think with out Fianna Fail "all peace and praise be to the party" we would be in savage trouble altogether and it's some coincidence that the green party was in power for the last few years when the real trouble in Ireland started ;)

Scenes from Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis.

Zealous supporters all the way to the bitter end.

In fairness, FF & FG have this country sown up between them. Sure you could never have democracy in Ireland anyhoo - you need at least two parties for real democracy...

Sure weve more money than we ever had.

If by we, you mean FF c*nts and their buddies, that's true.

The rest of us are up to our eyeballs in debt.

Find a rock, get back in under it.

The amount of people that say that is unreal.

You know instantly who they vote for though
