iTouch 2G running iOS 4.2.1 & latest version of iTunes, not jailbroken.

I download an update to an already installed app (UK National Trust) direct to the iTouch via Wi-Fi. A couple of hours later I synced with iTunes, then I checked for app updates and that app was listed as having an update available i.e. iTunes didn't upload the updated version from the iTouch.

I then moved the app out of a folder and on to an empty spot on one of my pages, I did a sync and it uploaded the updated version to iTunes, anyone seen this before?
