B7 glovebox

    Hey all,
    Can anyone help me out on this one. The glove box in my Audi A4 05 (b7 model) was broken when I bought it so I want to replace it. It is the two hinges on it that have broken so need to replace the door, the rest is ok. I rang the dealer and they want €135 + vat for this which sounds ridicilous for just the door! I've searched online for them but cant find one anywhere. Does ANYONE know where I could get one of these in black and if its a good quality second hand one I dont mind!

    Partfinder (google it) has a list of breakers with what cars they have. Ring a good few & get a few prices. Cant imagine it being too expensive if its just the door ya need

    Can I suggest that you would get a lot more attention for this thread if you had Audi A4 '05 in the title. B7 means nothing to a lot of people, myself included.

    Just for anyone who might encounter this problem again.

    Couldnt find any A4 second hand ones that werent broken so had to go for a new one. €130 off a VW garage was cheapest I could get it. Fitting it is extremely easy but just a point to note would be to open the piston on the side of the glovebox and lubricate the o-ring at the back!
