[Wanted] Ares Tavor Tar 21

I have been looking all over the place for a Tar 21 and have found it for around $300 but cant import it because of customs and I was wondering if anyone here was looking to sell theirs off? ( for an affordable price )

I live just south of Dublin in North Kildare.

friend of mine has one and he is looking to sell it. he bought it to start up airsoft but i dont think he liked it. it was used in skirmishes 3 times and was bought from MIA when they had it. whats your budget cause they are not cheap guns at all.(this one has the mars sight too)

my budget is €270 - €300ish, as long it's as new, and comes with all original items and possibly mags and batteries.

they never came with batteries. and its upward of 300 mate, he might go for 370 380 i think, if you interested i give him a txt see what he says.
they still do them. this was the 1st edition and has the mars sight and laser in it too.

these are 2 places and still do them. have a look at them, they have no mars sight anymore. and the prices are all close to 500 mark. the one my mate has is 2nd hand but its in mint condition. its a beautiful gun.

maybe give him a text to see if he is interested but I cant go too much over 300 because the I could just order one online for cheaper.

it will cost you about 340 euros from redwolf to get here thats including shipping and then you have to pay the VAT which will put it in the mark of 450 and thats what you looking at. I give him a txt for you and I let u know as soon as i hear from him regarding the price and is it still available.

ok, he still has it and he wants to sell it. he has a battleaxe double mag with it and a brand new battery. he said it has few scratches on flash hider and the rest of the gun is like new. he wants 350 for it, and i might bring him down to 330. its a good deal with that mag and a brand new battery.

I am interested, but I have also found some other offers from retailers and others and I am waiting on their price offers, none are set in stone though. In the meantime would you be able to acquire and post some pictures of the gun ( showing any damage or wear as well as overview, please )

As I said I am interested but I am waiting to see what prices I get from the others before I commit to anything, especially if i can get a new one for cheaper then a second-hand.

take ur time mate. but with a battery and a battleaxe mag i think u getting a good deal. the cheapest a retailer would qoute u on this is 380 without battery and a mid cap mag and they wont be able to get the one wid mars sight.

I am still looking around a bit, but the more I look the more difficult it seems to get this gun.

I am a little nervous about your particular version of the gun because of the negative comments that some people have had about the Mars scope.

So could you tell me what your experiences have been with the scope ( is the red dot focused and is there any distortion at all and can it be removed at all ) And if at all possible could you try to take a picture through the scope to show the red dot, I understand if you cannot manage to get it in a picture.

I am still interested in the gun and any information you have.



Also any news on whether your friend is willing to drop the price to 330 ( not too important though )

sight has never given him any troubles. the gun has only been used on the field twice but have had round out the back garden according to him. there is no ghost dot and dot is a red sharp dot. it also has a laser too which is activated by a button on the side(looks cool). now after all that if you dont want the sight, it can be taken off and a rail can be mounted on it for any other sight system.(replacement rail has to be purchased separately, I believe redwolf do them).
now a bit of good news for u. he sent me a txt and said he will take 320 for it, hence me contacting you see whats happening. so its your call dude.

That sounds very tempting, and it all looks and sounds top notch, but still give me a couple of days still to think about it ( sorry about all the waiting, I don't like to rush into things :pac:)

Few more questions, what voltage is the battery, how many BB's does the duel mag hold and what batteries ( if any ) does it use?.

not sure if its a 8.4 or 9.6 but i know its lipo ready(but im pretty sure it takes 9.6 spacewise), i think double mag is a 600 or 700 and i think it takes AAA batteries for auto wind(by sound) or normal wind up by wheel. as far as i know he has the mag that came with the gun, it was a mid cap too. i
have a look around but im pretty sure noone does them here anymore, and the reason they dont do them is not that there not good, its cause of the price they were going, my mate bought his for 499 from MIA.
All the ones from hong kong and state are all over 1 joule, they shoot way too hot and if the customs finds them, they will be destroyed as it happened to me with a pistol and my order was cheap enough. you wouldnt want that to happen to a expensive 300 quid rifle like.

I known all that thanks, but I still going to think about it for a couple more days, and wait for a reply from a retailer on how much it costs to import one.

I should know more by at earliest tomorrow.

Okay I have come to a decision about your Tar and I am afraid that I have to turn you down on the offer.

I have found a brand new Tar 21 without the Mars scope and I am going to purchase it instead, sorry

If you're friend is still interested in selling the gun I would suggest putting it up here, it is a popular gun and I am sure it would sell very quickly.

Thanks a lot for your patience and support with me and once again I am really sorry about pulling out of the sale like this.
