Hi

I'm drivng a 2000 Ford Focus and about 10 days ago the stereo started acting up. None of the buttons will now work. There's a CD playing in it and I am unable to eject it. I can't turn on the radio. I am just stuck with listening to the CD. It's driving me mental !!!

If I take the stereo out and out it back in again, will I be prompted to enter the codes for it? I bought the car second hand and am pretty sure that I don't have the code on hand

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any suggestions?

Regarding the radio code.

After owning 3 different Fords I have found there is usually a sticker on the side of the ashtray with the radio code.
You may have to remove the ashtray to see it.

Another option is calling the dealer who should have the radio code on record, or be able to retrieve it for you.

I have a 05 Focus and my battery died earlier this week.

Now it's prompting me for a code.

Can anyone advise...
