Macbook Pro + Vodafone Broadband to go

    Hey,

I have been using an Acer laptop the past few years and it was slowly but surely dying so I sawa the light and upgraded to a Macbook Pro.

I was using the Vodafone Bill Pay USB Internet dongle thingy (yep, that's the technical term :o) with absolutely no problems on my Acer, but when I installed it on my Mac (which had been previously connected to the wireless at home) the Mac hung and I got the Apple equivalent to the Windows timer (that circular rainbow thing). Any applications I had open would freeze (iTunes would still play but I couldn't stop/change the song, change the volume etc). I also couldn't open or close any applications. I had to "force quit" the iTunes, Safari and Vodafone Broadband and try again. I connected to the wireless again, no problems, iTunes & Safari working okay, but as soon as I connected to the Vodafone it went again.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but the same issue is occuring. Has anyone else had similar issues?
