You buy second hand DS from Gamestop but they only sell the second hand DS-lite, DSi or DSIXL

If want second hand of original DS, i saw few second hand of Old DS there in new games store which is 3D-Games it's located on Grafton street dublin. Also sell all DS Games old and new 1s. 3D Games is next door 3Gstore. Across from the Fuiji camera store.

    Even sells N64, Gamecube, PS1 & PS2, games & console

i think it's safe to assume anyone who asking to buy a ds in 2011 second hand for a child is looking for a dslite or dsi not an original.

I gave an original one into Game a few days ago. I honestly think you should get any other one than the original. The d-pad (buttons used to move) are very difficult and the original to use. The Lite one has a softer one that's very easy to use. I'm not sure about the XL or DSi models though.

I think... 100/120 or so is around the price for a second hand one. If you don't like the prices, try adverts. Or, better yet, a good idea might be to wait till the 3DS (the next-gen of the DS) to come out in two weeks, the old DS Lite might rocket down in price then. That and, you might (I have no idea if you can request something on adverts) get people willing to sell them for cheaper, too.
