Horrendous stuff, why oh why do people do this sort of thing to 4X4's (I refuse to refer to them as SUV's).
KAHN (or is it KHAN?) also do nasty things to Range Rovers.
OverFinch is the only way to go if you want to do something to your Rangie, they leave it looking pretty stock but tweak the engine, suspension, brakes etc.

Paint is interesting. That used to be really expensive to do, but there's new sprayable liquid metals on the market now (Not paint) which make it a fair bit easier to do. I wonder how much they think the Chrome adds to the price of the vehicle?

I'd be surprised if it was painted chrome, it's more likely a full vehicle vinyl wrap...

    Oh dear!!!!
Somebody's been watching too much Battle Star Gallactica.

    Finally,
A car that shows up on Google Earth, just what we have all been waiting for!
The Celtic Tiger has left the building, it should have taken this with it.

Well it does come with a built-in semi-automatic....

Jaysus.....I'd thought we'd seen the back of this sh*te when the Celtic Tiger died. Its horrendous. The poor dealer probably thinks he is in UAE.

    Is it even road legal?
Cant imagine driving around in a mirror, is.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,273 ✭✭✭racso1975

Thought that myself. A sunny day must be fun behind that

I have to say one good thing about the death of the Celtic Tiger is the death of the "Project Kahn" Rangie on our roads.

FFS - If I was rich and I wanted people to see how much of a chav I was I would just screw a prossie while my wife was knocked up - then let the papers know. there is no need to buy a chrome RR sport - it's even less classy !

With over 600 horsepower it would be one of the most powerful cars in the country.

You could tow one hell of a caravan with it too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,313 ✭✭✭Mr.Boots

Leave it parked there in the countryside too long and the Magpies will have it gone.

If you wanted to have a shave while driving into work, just pop the hood and you're good to go. (Don't worry about the folks in front of you, they'll clear out of your path). Coming up to a red light junction while shaving? Not to worry, all cars around you will stop to let you pass, so they can bask in your awesomeness as you roll on by (on your 22's of course).

You have to love the phrase (I see it all the time on Carzone)..."This car has been approved" (by Stephen Ireland, in this case).

That truly is appalling, how to well and truly ruin the worlds greatest 4x4.

Sadly Overfinch are no more, they were more understated with most of the work under the bonnet but are another victim of the recession.

I see a few of them advertised on Carzone. I wonder how many are actually physical cars. Very few, if any, I would imagine.

those mirrors would be handy for some kinky outdoor sex

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,315 ✭✭✭A-Trak

Those onyx fit outs were always horrible, mostly saw them in Candy white, the platium version would be worse. Imagine walking up to it everyday and seeing your own sad face in the bodywork before you even opened the door.

How could ya justify paying 150 grand to drive around in that my god that range rover will be stayin wit the dealer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,819 ✭✭✭✭peasant

Never mind the hall of mirrors paint ...it's probably also the only Landrover product that will be stumped by a speed bump :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,808 ✭✭✭maddness

I think some of our friends from Rathkeale might trade in the X5 for it.

Ya, and priced in in Dirhams....

    (FYI, it's roughly 5Dir = 1Euro)

Only someone with no shame would consider this crap or a caravan. Surely though nobody would consider both together?

Done a bit of research on these crazy shiny rangy's.
Turns out its called a crimson jihad special.
    - Full camel hide interior.
    - Very heavily reinforced plating underneath, not sure why.
    - Comes with a free backpack, I thought that was strange too.
    - And a complimentary one of these
    !
    !

I think its some sort of fancy wheel brace.
    Could be wrong though.
Satnav is great, always wants to go west though.

It'll protect you if someone tries to stick a bomb under the car, i.e. ideal for drug dealers and mafia types.
