This thread aint gonna go well!!

Despite my views on him and the Irish team,I hope he is okay if this report is true

He's gained huge popularity in Ireland? I can't agree with that tbh.

Hope he makes a full recovery.

He's an old man, having a stroke while undergoing surgery isn't going to make him any more "hearty". The FAI really should be looking beyond him harsh as that may sound.

Hope hes ok, cant help think this could be a blessing in disguise for our hopes of qualifying for the euros though...

Just heard this on the radio. Bad news and wish him a fast recovery. Hope this doesn't affect the Irish team too much or forces them to get a new manager in a rushed manner ad I think this would greatly hamper the Euro Qualification campaign.

If you like Trap's Irish team or not Trap is still a legend in football and because of this I wish him a speedy and full recovery

Ireland will only ever get a big name manager when there past it and on there last legs ie Robson and Trappatoni:rolleyes:

"I can confirm that I have not suffered a stroke. I will be in Ireland on January 24" A quote from Trapps apparently via FAI. The media should really confirm stories before publishing.

Talking of strokes, i wonder how his lady interpreteur is:p

Why would he deny having a stroke, if he had a stroke:confused:

He never said he had a stroke, a journalist did. He corrected the incorrect reports.

Him and Robson - no one over 60 is going to be interested in taking the Ireland position. too dangerous
