iPhone 4 Deposit with Vodafone

So I bought an iPhone (bill pay) form Vodafone in September I think. I paid a €200 deposit which was annoying but I was told that I would get it back in my first 4 bills. Anyway to cut a long story short they didn't pay it back in my bills yet.

Has anybody had experience similar to this? Have they robbed me or is it that they just lied to me in store and that I will get my €200 back after 6 months. I'm abroad at the moment but plan on calling them when I get back and find my original receipt.

    Thanks for the help.

Sometimes you have to ring them to get them tp refund you the deposit , other times they forget to give it back altogether and you would need to provide proof you paid it.

Whatever you do don't let that go!

Get on the phone to customer care [or create a thread in biz<talk to<vodafone forum]

I had this problem myself a few months ago. For some reason the payment didn't go through to my account. I was asked to go in
Store and ask them to fax a receipt to customer care. [don't worry the store can print off a receipt off their system

It took a week or two but my account was credited. End result was bill payments were coming out of the credit balance for 3 months, meaning no direct debits for that time!

This happened to me and when I contacted customer care it turned out that the shop hadn't returned the forms to them. The guy in the shop then tried to convince me that it was my fault and wanted to hand me copies of the documents and sort it myself. I actually laughed in his face and asked him did he think I was a complete eejit! I asked him to contact customer care in front of me and organise sending the stuff. He then tried to tell me they had no fax machine in the shop even though I could see it!!! Basically unless I'd pushed it he couldn't even be the slightest bit a**ed to do this for me! I had my receipt with me but didn't need it as they had all the documentation in store recording the sale. Don't let the shop fob you off in any circumstances.
