    Hi All,

Not sure what jewellery I should get to go with my dress. Should it be earrings and a necklace or just earrings? Diamonds of pearls? All suggestions welcome smile.gif

    Beautiful dress :)
If it were me, I would keep it pretty simple, you don't want to overdo it. A string of pearls would be gorgeous, or just a pair of diamond earrings.

    Gorgeous dress :)

I'd also 2nd either keeping the jewellery to a minimum or wear one statement piece and keep the rest understated. Considering how lovely your dress is I'd concentrate more on statement earrings and understated neck/wrist wear.

A drop pendant might be nice for your neck

You can even buy a cheapish one as long as its small and discreet. I bought one in Newlook for mine but in the end didn't wear it as I bought statement ear rings.

    Ear Rings
    Either very discreet

    or statement ones

I got a fabulous pair of emerald type ones on sale in coast for mine.

I like the last pair! I got a beautiful pair of pearl and marcasite earrings for my 21st from Rhinestones in Dublin. They're were €65 and fresh water pearls. Love them. Similar to this

String of pearls would be nice, or a very simple pendant - no necklace looks very 'bare' with a strapless dress in my opinion, even a simple necklace breaks up the expanse of skin so it looks a bit less bare and draws the eyes away from the boob line (well I don't know if you can call it cleavage in a strapless?) a bit

Just earrings. Any necklace will take away from the nice bare decolletage. If you wanted something there, you would have bought a dress that went up to your neck! Keep it simple. Pearl studs, or some nice drop pearls.

Ah decolletage, that is the word. Obviously my brain was still on Christmas holidays, thanks!

(Tho I personally think there's a huge difference between a dress with fabric to the neck and a delicate necklace just adding a little detail to the large expanse from chin to breast, but obviously just my opinion.)

Personally I'd wear something delicate and simple around my neck as the decolletage area can look too bare without it. Again, that's just my preference.

Love those earrings twee, they're stunning. I think if you were to wear earrings like that you should either leave your neck bare or wear something extremely delicate, something like this perhaps?

I love pearls, definitely go for the pearl. Something very delicate if your going for a necklace anyway. The dress is so pretty!

You could even go with something like images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT2IX8br4uUMIpYCRJaz6cxyvYX6J1_kCIUt090HFQhnBOvkkGRdg

I know someone who got married recently in a dress similar to yours and that's the style she went with.

It depends on what you're doing with your hair as well. If it's up, you'll need a pair of earrings, but if it's down (and long) you might not need earring or a necklace. My friend had her hair down and she had really nice, small drop pearl earrings, but no one could see them.

Thanks a million everyone, looks like the majority are going for pearls so and I already know it was something delicate that was needed so just need to keep any eye out for some nice pearls. Hair will be up but not too severe. Think I will go for small pearl earrings if I have to go for a necklace.:)

Litz, Where did you get the pic from? Is it a jewellers in ireland or just a pic from the web?
