What jewellery for this wedding dress

    Hi All,

    Not sure what jewellery I should get to go with my dress. Should it be earrings and a necklace or just earrings? Diamonds of pearls? All suggestions welcome :)

    well what do you prefer? I'd be a diamonds girl, just not really into pearls.

    I'd keep it fairly simple as the dress is quite ruffled on the top. I think maybe it's too modern a design as well for pearls

    How are you wearing your hair? If wearing it up I would wear small stud earrings and a necklace and definitely make the necklace simple

    Take a look at the model and follow from there - I'd say keep it very simple as you'll take from the dress- which is fantastic -something like this might be nice too?

    Are you wearing your hair up or down and are you wearing veil?

    if your wearing your hair down i would go with a necklace and stud earrings. if your going with you hair up i would go for statment earrings and no necklace.

    as for diamonds or pearls, go with whatever you prefer, no point in buying something your only going to wear once:D

    First up, really like your dress! Personally I'd be inclined to go with statement earrings, and no necklace. The earrings don't need to be OTT but I've seen photos of similar dresses modelled and they've had sizeable earrings and the combination looked stunning. Notwithstanding the above, the only way you'll really know is if you take a couple of pieces of jewellery and try them together. Good luck!

    The dress is beautiful. Just a fab pair of earrings in case a neckpiece took from d dress.

    Pop into Accessorise and have a look at their earrings, you'd probably get something very pretty that wouldn't cost the earth!

    Thanks everyone, your comments have been a great help.. My hair will be up but not too sereve, no veil. Have a fitting soon so think I'll try a few pieces on with the dress and see what goes best :)
