to me that sounded like a daycent start to SD this year, few points:
    • WHC match to open the show just like on raw? interesting but explosive opener i suppose
    • Loving the fact that del rio and Dolph are getting a push again, youth movement comtinues into 2011 (including kofi with the IC title)
    • Wade on SD......feud with big show?! now this is just confusing
    • The Drew/Kelly thing could be good for both of them, but one will have to turn - kelly more than likely

Good effort thus far.....alot better than the turd sandwiches we have been fed recently!

Dolph Ziggler as a contender....really? ......really?

im going to get some coffee and read this again..........

Wade Barrett runs into the match midway and takes out Big Show

I was trying to figure out why he attacked Show and what part it had to play in the Nexus angle at first. Then I realised this is probably the best move for him now; staying on Raw would require a face turn of sorts. Moving to SD allows him to restablish himself as a heel.

Also, awesome about Ziggler getting a WHC match at The Rumble :D

Yes Ziggler V Edge is new and at least he is getting a push. I have a feeling Vickie might cost Ziggler the match and align with Edge again thus turning Ziggler face and Edge heel (oh boy does Edge need to go heel imo)

so barrett goes to smackdown and fueds with the big slow, gets no pay back on nexus and punk, and we are to forget the fact he ever even existed on raw .

i agree edge needs to turn heel, but would that happen by screwing over dolph ziggler, i seriously doubt it, the crowd would love it.

Show had kinda just started a feud with Cody so Barrett turning up attacking him makes no sense and as you said gets no payback on Nexus or Punk

i know he might not be ready yet to be a face, but they could have let him tag along with cena, the crowd would have took to him, he'd have got some pay back and they could have kept cena and punk apart til mania, now they'll just do cena and punk to death so much, that people might get bored of it before mania

Wade going to Smackdown and remaining heel was a good move imo.

Punk/Barrett/Cena would just be a cluster****.

not if it was done properly, if cena and punk is the plan for mania, cena and barrett could have had matches with various members of nexus, keep punk and cena apart til the big show, now we are to forget barrett ever existed on raw and punk and cena will be done to death

Wade Barrett appeared at tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings, attacking Big Show after the #1 contender's match between Show, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, which Ziggler won.

Word going around is that Barrett will now permanently be on the SmackDown brand. As of now, there will be no follow-up angle with CM Punk on RAW as Punk has taken over Nexus.

I doubt Teddy would bring Wade to SD so how will it be explained  so that is Wade and Ezekiel Jackson to SD

This is another thing which just makes absolutely zero sense and it happens an awful lot. The holder of the IC/US title loses it fairly and squarely and is then immediately catapulted to the main event. Surely losing the title means you are not ready to move up immediately?

With the next two PPV being the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, Cena and Punk could both be kept apart from single matches. They could still meet in the Rumble and in a Chamber match and build anticpation for a Mania match. They kept Batista and HHH apart, and as i recall they did the same with Jericho and Micheals

maybe your right, maybe they will be kept apart. but look at who you mentioned above as examples, HHH and Micheals who i would suggest know how to pace a storyline and had alot of say in the planning of their storyline, i would imagine punk could be ok if giving a chance at planning a storyline, but i seriously doubt cena can do it, and he'll do whatever the writers tell him to do, i could be wrong but because of this, i think this will be done to death and people wont care when or if the match at mania rolls around.

Not long since Miz was US champion and tapping out to Bryan more than once.

Delighted Dolph is getting his move up, Himself and Vickie are a great Duo. Good to see Del Rio continuing his push.

Not sure about Wade, but its going to be some carry over from Show taking Wades Slammy I guess. Wade (w/Nexus 2.0) v Taker at Mania?

Edge v Dolph or Edge v Del Rio or Edge v Barrett or Edge v Swagger are all good possibilities going into 2011. Just need more face stars!

An absolute long shot I know but it would be cool if it was revealed in a few months time that Barrett was still a member/co-leader of Nexus, with him holding the WHC on SD and Punk as WWE champion on Raw. They could bring Skip Sheffield in to help Barrett on SD, and maybe add one or two more to form a stable on the blue brand.

I wouldn't go that far being the plan, too long term for WWE these days, they seem to revise/update nexus on a weekly basis! But at some stage it could become the revised plan:pac:
Skip could well show up on Smackdown, I think he is back from Injury at FCW.

PWInsider.com is reporting that the current Rey Mysterio/Alberto Del Rio feud is being advertised to end this Friday night on Smackdown. According to the report, the match is billed as the final bout between the two superstars who have been feuding since Del Rio's debut in WWE back in August of 2010.

Who Booked this show? It was brilliant!

Would it of Killed them to let Del Rio beat Mysterio a bit clean a countout is no to end a rivalry.Didn't get why they had Dolff get beat twice clean half a hour before he became no.1 contender for the Belt, sorry vince Championship.Did they say there is no DQ in Fatal 4 Way matches too never got the update on that one.

I have to say, I loved that four way match. It was a thing of beauty in the way it was worked.

Wow that was one of the best smackdowns In an awfully long time!

I'm still amazed how over vickie is as a heel! Shes brilliant also Dolph/ Edge is going to be interesting...

hadnt watched SD recently cos its been so poor but read this thread and decided to give it a shot and im glad i did, as said above it was much much better.

McIntyre id say is going Tweener, as he keeps re-iterating that in the ring he does what he has to but that he isnt a bad guy to Kelly and that she can trust him. So good guy who acts like a bad guy then it seems. Coming to Kellys aid though he will probably be more face than heel in this tweener role though but it will allow him to keep his current in ring style id imagine while being more of a face because of the association with Kelly x2

Best Smackdown for a very very long time. Every match was decent. Not entirely sure about the whole Drew McIntyre business really.

As per Ziggler, I rather enjoy him. His two matches against Cena were very very good. Might be a bit too soon for him to be pushed up the pecking order though only coming off from losing the IC belt.
