Maths Teaching Interview

    Just trying to get a handle on the type of questions to be asked in postgraduate interview.

    Do you know if they actually quiz you in maths or is it assumed you know your maths as you did it in your degree.

    ah I see, sorry. Thought it was for Maths Job.
    I don't know anything about your interview but I do know when I interview for Teaching Jobs, I usually find something from the syllabus and ask them how they would think it should be approached. I would always presume the person would have the maths know how as its well below uni standard but its more how they deal with the pressure and thought process.

    As you would imagine for the PGDE interview they are going to ask you about yourself and the skills you have which are related to your ability to teach.

    Think about it - if you were interviewing what kind of questions do you think would be important to assess potential student teachers??

    Do you know if they are 10 minute or 1 hour interview.

    Trying to get an idea of the amount of preperation required
