    Hey everyone,

I just bought a HTC Desire locked to o2 and was wondering how difficult it would be to unlock it and how it would cost? I was also wondering about debranding it, but that's not really a priority right now. Thanks in advance!

I think I payed about €30 or €40 to get mine unlocked. You should find it cheaper on the net though. You just type in a code. T'is handy.

As for debranding, I debranded mine just before the last HTC FOTA update. Now like everyone else that debranded, I can't update without flashing it myself and probably wipe the phone too. If you stay o2 branded you'll wait ages for them to release the update, so dunno what to suggest to you.

Thanks Big Dan, I reckon I'll unlock it and leave the branding for now.
