I have used a 20 ft container car and all 20 boxes previously to Sydney but that was in the better days!

I am looking to get personal belongings to Brissy this time and wondering if anyone has some experience of doing so recently and got some good quotes.

Mostly electrical and kitchen items and are easily boxed and stacked.

I used Pack and Send on the Goldacoast when heading back here few years ago and found them very good, anybody use them from the Irish side?

Shared containers are also an option if i knew where to start

Gregsor, Ill be sending stuff back soon too, but to Sydney.

Who did you use getting stuff to Australia the first time?

It was an Irish freight company just off from Dublin airport, more geared to containers though and i think their minimum was a 20ft,that's what i used.

I will be getting on to Pack Send but i thought they had an Irish office ,one up the North though http://www.packsend.co.uk/packandsend_franchise_details.php

We used this company in Dublin http://www.aaeconomyfreight.com/ to ship our items to Sydney. Hopefully they are on the water by now and we'll get them when we arrive at the end of January.

I rang around a few places and got quotes, these guys seemed best.

just out of interest how much does shipping to Aus cost, for example for personal items contained in a 2 bedroom apartment (excl furniture)?
