    Need advice on beavertail trucks. Which is better Merc Atego,Iveco or a DAF.
    Please reply and thanks in advance.

    My answer would be depending on the age you wish to buy and the weight. I am assuming you mean 7.5t

    If you were going for more than 10 years old I would find an Iveco with a clean cab. Newer than that and both the DAF and the Merc are reasonable wagons.

    I have a good bit of experience with the Mercs and I know them fairly well. The Dafs are quite simple machines but the older ones had problems with rot in the cabs

    Have experence in all three and merc all the way to the bank followed only by the daf pre 01 models as the newer ones are heart breakers and the iveco is just terrible! terrible to drive terrible to work on and terrible to look at.
