MIA BDUs'

Just seen the uniforms on MIA sites and am interested in the flecktarn one as its cheap and I need one for my German set up. Just wondering if anyone here has used them before and what do they think. If there are any pictures of it I'd be delighted to have a look.

Many Uniforms tend to be of better quality if it has Ripstop designed into it

Most uniforms tend to have them. with my experience with uniforms the crotch will almost most diffenatly need to be re-sown. all most all my mates have needed to.
just thought i'd let you know as i DON'T know the MIA uniforms! ^^

it says on the site (http://www.mainirishairsoft.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=612) that the flecktarn is made out of heavy cotton, not ripstop? Am i better off investing in one else where with ripstop or would the cotton be tough enough?

I wouldn't say i'm the expert in uniform clothing etc. but I think i would invest in some Ripstop as it prevents holes getting bigger ultimatly. i do see loads of other airsofters wearing non Ripstop uniforms aswell so maybe they can have a say into this conversation? I'm sorry i can't be of more help.

There is Swedish flacktern on special in hobby in rathcoole, genuine surplus for less than 20 quid for a set. Even has the name of.the.original owner on the tag !!

Oh I like these and theyre the same price as the MIA ones. Used the the shop before? What they like for shipping?

They are great (here that Steve ).Shipping is usaly next day delivery

I don't know of there is or not, just what the guy in the shop told me. It's very similar to the one on the sea link except it has red flecks in it too. It's designed for countryside with a high quality of red leaves, the names on the tags are German or Scandinavian.

I have the MIA BDU's in US woodland, and tbh the quality aint great. Faded fast, the pockets under the normal pockets (if that makes sense ?) ripped after a few uses, and when i fell when going to a skirmish (stupid i know) i barely scratched them on the ground and they ripped. You can do much better for a bit more or go for the surplus which definitely wont let you down

It might not be Sweedish, but there are other countries that use flektarn. Suck as Denmark, Poland, and Belgium

I think Flecktarn is only German not any of the nations you mentioned , they all have their individual designs and names...and bottoms ripping at the crotch will not happen if you wear a belt...simples:)

Those countries do you use Flecktarn, but its generaly Special Operation units. I know my Flecktarn

Listen i know what your talking about but we can stay here all night and discuss all the units and special forces tru out the world that use each and everybodies camo, but at the end of the day the "FLECKTARN" which is being talked and shown here IS GERMAN. thanks B
