3gs (unlocked) to upgraded software

    Hope ya's can help me lads?

    I've a 16 gig 3gs, sim unlocked and jailbroken. Wana plug into the comp and give it the software update, but i've been told this may stop the unlock and cancel the jailbreak:mad:

    Unlocked so i can put meteor sim in and cydia on it:)

    Any ideas if i can proceed with the updates or wat do i've to do at all? Cheers all:cool:

    If it's unlocked by ultrasnow then yes updating will lock it again
    Ya can update to the latest iOS and use redn0w to jb and install the iPad baseband 06.15.00 to unlock BUT ya won't be able to restore or update in iTunes
    It will always have to be a custom firmware if ya install the iPad baseband. The jb is also tethered
